introduction skidra provides its users with two distinct modes test mode live mode in order to access the two different modes, the user toggles between test and live mode from the navigation bar the data for each mode is separated nfts, assets, and any other data that you upload and use within the test mode are not available for use within the live mode, and vice versa test mode test mode exists to give you the capability to create and learn within a closed, isolated environment it takes advantage of so called test nets which exist on the block chains themselves and are free of charge these test nets are neither secure nor stable and provide none of the security or authenticity provided by the live net and should therefore not be used in with any real product nfts that are minted within the test mode must not be used for real life applications the test nets provided by the block chains provide no security and authenticity test mode is simply used to test your creation and implementation process in a safe and risk free environment live mode live mode is where you will access the live chains that are stable and secure, such as polygon and ethereum operations on live chains require a fee in accordance to the corresponding blockchain live mode can only be accessed after activating your account and setting up a billing plan
